An odd green/gray kornerupine with a little bit of blue from Tanga, Tanzania. Typically chrome kornerupine are not fluorescent but I assume that this stone has just the right amount of chromium to give it this unusual color while still allowing it to fluoresce under UV light.

Kornerupine is a born-silicate mineral that is considered a collectors stone due to its rarity. This Kornerupine is a beautiful light green color, completely natural and untreated and has inclusions the are commonly found in the mineral deposit.
